As a child, I would sometimes borrow my father's Minolta SLR to shoot portraits of my friends and things around me. Creating images has been a constant passion and interest, leading me to focus more on art than math at school.

 

While studying architecture back in the early 1990s, I took to photography, and fell in love with the effect black & white photography had on me. The grainy feel of reportage/street style photography and processed through old school film photo studios is one of the biggest losses of modern photography advances. I now primarily shoot digital, but the love for analog and darkroom work is still very much in me. My portfolio showcases some of my favorite images from the past few years; I strive to create photographs that not only capture a moment, but also capture a feeling and essence and tell a story.

 

I am based in Kuala Lumpur and am available for private portrait sessions, as well as events in the Klang Valley areas -- though I would also be very interested in working on location elsewhere.  Prints of my personal work are also available.
